Nollywood in Hollywood has announced the official selection of three films for the seventh edition of its annual showcase, scheduled for March 6–7, 2026, in Los Angeles.
The 2026 lineup includes Stitches, When Nigeria Happens, and To Adaego With Love. Organizers unveiled the selections during a preview screening of My Father’s Shadow at the Norris Theatre at the University of Southern California. The film previously made history as Nigeria’s first title selected in the official lineup at the Cannes Film Festival and was the United Kingdom’s submission for the 98th Academy Awards’ best international feature category.
The showcase opens March 6 at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica with Stitches, directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso. The romantic drama follows a fashion designer whose ascent into elite social circles is complicated by personal relationships and hidden truths.
On March 7, the program continues at the Norris Cinema Theatre with When Nigeria Happens, directed by Ema Edosio-Deelen. The film blends drama and contemporary dance to examine ambition and survival in Lagos. The event will close that evening with To Adaego With Love, a historical drama by Nwamaka Chikezie set in post-conflict Nigeria.
Each screening will be followed by a conversation with the filmmakers.
