Renowned Nigerian rapper and music icon Olamide has once again captured global attention with the release of his latest music video, “Hello Habibi,” featuring American rapper Russ.

The collaboration, which merges Olamide’s distinctive Afrobeats style with Russ’ introspective lyricism, creates a fusion of sounds that reflects the artists’ unique cultural background.

Directed by Jyde Ajala, the visuals for “Hello Habibi” showcase vibrant scenes and rich colors reflecting African and Middle Eastern influences, drawing from the song title, which means “Hello, My Love” in Arabic.

The chemistry between Olamide and Russ is evident as they exchange verses, seamlessly blending their styles while delivering lyrics about romance, loyalty, and global unity.

“Hello Habibi” is expected to be a highlight on streaming platforms, judging by the global reception of the initial song release back in June which spawned millions of videos on Tik Tok and Instagram Reels. This release also marks another milestone in Olamide’s ever-evolving career, showcasing his ability to innovate and expand the reach of Nigerian music.

The music video is now available on YouTube and major streaming platforms, ready to captivate fans and new listeners alike.
