Paul Thomas Anderson’s film One Battle After Another has received 14 nominations at this year’s BAFTA Awards, tying as the second-most nominated film in the awards’ history.
The total places the film alongside The King’s Speech (2010), All Quiet on the Western Front (2022) and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), each of which also earned 14 nominations. Only Gandhi (1983) has received more, with 16.
One Battle After Another is nominated for Best Film, competing against Hamnet, Marty Supreme, Sentimental Value and SINNERS. Paul Thomas Anderson received a nomination for Best Director, while Leonardo DiCaprio is recognized in the Leading Actor category and Chase Infiniti in Leading Actress. Teyana Taylor earned a Supporting Actress nomination, with Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn both nominated for Supporting Actor.

The film also received nominations in several technical categories, including Adapted Screenplay (Anderson), Cinematography (Michael Bauman), Editing (Andy Jurgensen), Casting (Cassandra Kulukundis), Original Score (Jonny Greenwood), Sound (José Antonio) and Production Design (Florencia Martin and Anthony Carlino).
Warner Bros. Discovery led the nominations overall. In addition to One Battle After Another’s 14 nods, SINNERS earned 13 nominations, while Marty Supreme and Hamnet each received 11.
Beyond the BAFTAs, One Battle After Another has also been nominated 13 times at the 2026 Academy Awards.
