Pedro Pascal shared an exciting behind-the-scenes group photo of “The Fantastic Four” cast on his Instagram earlier today, marking the first time fans have seen the main ensemble together. This reveal confirms both the cast lineup and the start of filming for the much-anticipated live-action comic adaptation by Marvel Studios, set for release on July 25, 2025.
The photo features Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and 2023 Primetime Emmy winner Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, all appearing friendly and ready for their roles. This image has quickly stirred excitement among fans eager to see the chemistry of the new cast.
While the film is a Marvel Studios production and part of its cinematic universe, *The Fantastic Four* will be a period piece set in the 1960s in an alternate universe. This unique twist was confirmed by Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios’ president, during a podcast with *Entertainment Weekly*.
Additionally, the film is set to kick off Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a lineup of movie releases scheduled from mid-2025 through mid-2027. It will be the first film in this phase and the 37th overall installment in the MCU, marking a significant addition to the franchise’s expansive storyline.
