Toyosi Benjamin Wraps Filming on Debut Short “Dusty Dreams”
Nigerian filmmaker Toyosi Benjamin has wrapped on his debut short film Dusty Dreams as post-production begins.
Benjamin, on September 17, reflected on the dedication and effort it took to bring Dusty Dreams to life after a year of intense writing and pitching.
“After weeks of writing and rewriting and a year on from pitching, Dusty Dreams is born. Dusty Dreams is a short film that addresses albinism, stigmatization and the cost of reliving past glory,” he shared.
Dusty Dreams is executively produced by Factory10 Productions, in collaboration with Konirewa Films and Lorito House LLC.

The short film starring Ifeanyi Okondu, Eniola Omiwole, Bunmi Moses, General Clinton, and Maryjane Ojie is set against the world of football to correct stereotypes about albinism.
Benjamin, an alumnus of the Royal Arts Academy, EbonyLife Creative Academy, and the Accelerate Filmmakers Project, makes his directorial debut with this project.
While the film is in its post-production stage, details about its premiere date and distribution platform have not yet been disclosed.
