Prime Video’s upcoming international series Postcards From Italy has wrapped production in Sicily.
Spanish-American actress Nicole Wallace stars as the lead character Mia, and she will be joined by Martina Gatti, Paola Minnacioni, Vincent Riotta, Niccolo Senni, Maria Vera Ratti, Sebastiano Pigazzi, and Filippo de Carli.
Wallace’s involvement in the show was revealed in October 2025 and was made even more certain due to her popularity as Noah in Prime Video’s The Culpables trilogy (Culpa Mia, Culpa Tuya and Culpa Nuestra). The Spanish language success brought a massive international audience to the streaming service. In 2023, Culpa Mia became the most viewed non-English language original film in the history of Prime Video. Wallace has now signed a talent agreement with Amazon MGM Studios, and Postcards From Italy is the first of two announced projects she will headline. The second is the limited series The House of Spirits, which will premiere in 2026.
Postcards From Italy is created by the duo Lisa Riccardi and Damiano Brue, and directed by Academy Award winner Jessica Yu. According to the official logline, the story “follows the misadventures of Mia, a young and spoiled New York heiress who is sent by her grandfather to Palermo, without money or luxuries, to work as a real estate agent in the family business.”
The series is a collaborative effort between Amazon MGM Studios and Gumont Italia. While an official release date has not been announced, it will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
