Rema’s debut studio album, Rave & Roses, has tied Wizkid’s Made In Lagos as the longest-charting African project on the U.S. Billboard World Albums chart.

 

Both albums now stand at 164 weeks, reflecting their rare longevity and sustained global demand.

 

Released on April 1, 2022, “Rave & Roses” arrived as a genre-blending statement that fused Afrobeats with pop, trap and R&B sensibilities.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums chart, making Rema one of the youngest African artists to achieve the feat, and it has remained a fixture on the chart for over three years.
