The music for Femi Adebayo’s award-winning film is in the running for Best Soundtrack at AFRIMA 2025.
Tolu Obanro’s score for Seven Doors, the directorial debut of actor-filmmaker Femi Adebayo, has been nominated for Best Soundtrack in a Movie, Series, or Documentary at the 2025 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
The film, which previously won the inaugural Best Music Score category at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) earlier this year, has continued to receive recognition for its soundtrack, which blends emotional depth with cultural textures.

Adebayo, announcing the nomination on social media, praised Obanro’s work: “Seven Doors just got nominated at the 2025 AFRIMA for Best Soundtrack. Big shoutout to my brother, Tolu Obanro (@tyanx), who curated all the emotions of the score and made the story come alive,” he wrote.
Public voting for the AFRIMA Awards opens on September 10, with the ceremony scheduled to run from November 25 to 30 in Lagos.
