Known for producing the short film “Salamatu’s Rhapsody,” this marks Igbawua’s first independently produced feature as a filmmaker.

“After a year of growth—from a British Council Film Lab grant, to Film Africa in London, to Tribeca in New York—I’ve just wrapped principal photography on my debut feature film, Language of the Wind,” he wrote.
