The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has become the fastest to reach one billion views globally, hitting the milestone within four days of release.
The record follows an already historic debut, with the trailer generating 718.6 million views in its first 24 hours, the highest opening for any trailer to date.
The combined performance places the film ahead of previous benchmarks, including multiple teasers for Avengers: Doomsday, which collectively crossed one billion views over a longer period.
The two-minute, 30-second trailer hints at a more grounded story set after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Peter Parker rebuilding his life while facing new threats and responsibilities.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film marks the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man series. It stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon, alongside new cast members Sadie Sink and Giancarlo Esposito.
The film is expected to be one of Marvel’s major releases as the studio continues to expand its post-No Way Home storyline.
