Stephanie Linus, a prominent figure in the Nigerian film industry, has been appointed as the head of the Oscars Nigerian selection committee. This follows the departure of Chineze Anyaene-Abonyi.

 

With a revamped lineup of industry experts, the committee includes Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Chidia Maduekwe, Victor Okhai, Andy Amenechi, Yibo Kikoko, Izu Ojukwu, John Njamah, Adetokunbo Odubawo, Meg Otanwa, Dimeji Ajibola, Ngozi Okafor, Emem Isong, and Jude Idada. Together, they are entrusted with the task of curating and selecting films that will represent Nigeria in the Best International Feature Film category at the Oscars.
