Taeps Studios and Zaia Ventures Set to Release 3D Feature Film

Marking an important milestone in Nigeria’s animation industry, Taeps Studios joins forces with Ukonwa Ojo’s Zaia Ventures to produce its first 3D feature animation titled “Adetoun and the Heart of Time.”

Ukonwa Ojo, former chief marketing officer of Prime Video and the current CEO of Zaia Ventures, has invested in Nigeria’s promising animation industry with Taeps Animation Studios through her venture capital firm, Zaia Ventures.

Directed by Mark Eyes and produced by Adeoyin Okuboyejo, “Adetoun and the Heart of Time” follows the story of Adétóún, a young descendant of an ancient warrior whose arrival evokes the return of a revered relic with the power to alter time. She is on the path to fulfilling her destiny, but an old enemy rises to put hurdles in her way.

This project is Taeps Studios’ most ambitious project yet, as its mission is to tell authentic African stories through the power of representation and animation.
