The global theatrical event coincides with the release of her 12th studio album.
Taylor Swift’s “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” to Premiere in Cinemas
Taylor Swift will return to cinemas this October with a global event titled Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.
Running from October 3–5, the 89-minute program is timed to the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Within 24 hours of its announcement, the event generated $15 million in presales across circuits.
Distributed by AMC Theatres, the limited run marks Swift’s latest collaboration with the company after the record-breaking success of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (2023), which grossed more than $261 million worldwide to become the highest-grossing concert film ever. Once again, Swift bypasses traditional Hollywood studios, partnering directly with AMC to reach her fans.

The screening will feature the world premiere of the Fate of Ophelia music video, behind-the-scenes footage, lyric videos, and Swift’s personal reflections on the album’s songs. Fans can also expect exclusive collectibles, including photo cards in CD editions and original poems featured in vinyl formats.
Showings will be held in AMC Theatres across the United States, with international screenings launching in 18 countries and expansion to nearly 100 countries later in the month.
