Tems Drops the Visuals for her Comeback Single “Me & U”

Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has graced the music industry with her presence by dropping the single “Me & U,” along with its visuals.

The single, being her first solo in two years, caused the singer to take to her social media to share her excitement about its release. With a 30-second reel on Instagram showcasing bits of the music video, she captioned, “FIRST SINGLE IN TWO YEARS! ME & U OUT EVERYWHEREE, So incredibly grateful for all your support! Link in da Bio, LET’S GO.”

Tems first teased the single on Sept.29 with a picture of her standing in the middle of the ocean. Upon posting, a fan on Twitter compared her to the Yoruba deities Oshun and Yemeya. She quickly clarified that impression by stating, “Actually it’s about Jesus Christ teaching me how to walk on water, to trust Him and not in human understanding. He altered my life. And if you seek Him, He will fill you up as well.”
