Leading Vibe Initiative, established by singer and songwriter Temilade Opaniyi popularly known as Tems in collaboration with Native Instruments, released a mini documentary on November 6, offering an intimate look at three of the selected rising female producers navigating the vibrant Afrobeats music scene.

The film, titled 72 Hours in Lagos, follows Saszy Afroshii, TinyBraz and Gbots through the city that all three women, along with Tems, individually describe as “chaotic” during the inaugural edition of the Leading Vibe Initiative.

The initiative, which Tems launched in August, aims to support, connect and amplify the next generation of women in music. Native Instruments contributes training, mentorship and industry-leading software and hardware to the program withTems serving on the Native Instruments artist board as well.

The Leading Vibe Initiative hosted a two-day seminar in Lagos for approximately 20 women, providing hands-on training, access to world-class tools and connections to industry executives and creatives through workshops, masterclasses and panel discussions. Tems expanded the initiative to Nairobi, Kenya in the months that followed.

The documentary is available to watch on YouTube.
