Have you taken time out to watch The Big Break Moment TV Show yet? If not, take time out to see it. It is different. The show kicked off on September 5, 2022, in Lagos with 20 contestants doing battle in a fun way over a one-month period. The program is an edutainment talent competition for students attracted from tertiary institutions.
“It is a student kind of Big Brother Naija. The whole idea of The Big Break Moment is to [bring] students from different tertiary institutions into the house to compete,” Tayo Folorunsho, manager and founder of The Big Break Moment unveils what the TV show stands for.
TNR also gathered from the manager that the housemates are called Dream Mates and the mansion that houses the contestants is called Dream House. These contestants are between the ages of 19 and 22.
The program, which started in 2017, was previously called 72 Hours Reality Experience strictly with UNIABUJA students. The cash prize for 72 Hours Reality Experience was ₦100,000. However, this year’s cash prize is ₦30 Million.
The hosts of The Big Break Moment unscripted reality TV show are Denrele and Blessing CEO. Just like Big Brother Naija, contestants are evicted. They can only secure their spot in the house when fans outside the outside vote for them. The runs through October 5, and it is broadcast every Monday to Friday from 4:30pm to 5:00pm on Silverbird TV on DStv, GOtv, Startimes and Terrestrial. There is also a 24-hour YouTube live stream.
