“The Summer I Turned Pretty” Viewership Soars With Season Three
The third and final season of Prime Video’s coming-of-age series “The Summer I Turned Pretty” has attracted 25 million viewers in a week, claiming the number one spot in over 120 countries.
A recent report on July 28, stated that this marked a 40% increase in comparison with its season two (2023), which garnered 17.9 million viewers, within the same timeframe.
According to Prime’s internal data, the season three recent viewership also indicated a tripling increase compared to the debut season (2022) and makes it the No. 5 returning show in Prime Video’s history.
Reacting to the series success, the creator and co-showrunner, Jenny Han, expressed her gratitude and pride in successfully bringing all three seasons to life, each one adapted from her three books.
With its recent 25 million viewers, “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” trails behind only seasons two and three of “Reacher”, season two of “The Rings of Power” and season four of “The Boys.”
