Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and actor Tiwa Savage has unveiled ‘Lost Time’, the lead single from her debut feature film “Water & Garri.”
Produced by Khari ‘Needlz’ Cain, renowned for his work with Bruno Mars and Drake, and co-produced by Poo Bear, “Lost Time” encapsulates Savage’s emotive storytelling as she reflects on past love amidst a backdrop of captivating melodies.
Release on May 10, 2024, on Prime Video, “Water & Garri” marks a significant milestone in Savage’s career as she assumes her first lead role in a feature film, while also serving as its Executive Producer.
Tiwa Savage’s journey to stardom has been nothing short of remarkable. Hailing from Nigeria, she burst onto the music scene with her captivating vocals and infectious beats, quickly becoming one of Africa’s most prominent musical exports.
As “Water & Garri” prepares for its much-anticipated release, we eagerly anticipate not only Savage’s on-screen performance but also the accompanying soundtrack, which promises to showcase her musical prowess alongside an array of talented collaborators.

Savage’s role in the film is equally captivating. Playing the character of Aisha, an ambitious fashion designer returning to her native home after a decade abroad, she navigates a landscape fraught with challenges, from escalating violence to personal guilt.
