“Everybody Loves Jenifa” Heads to Prime Video After Record Cinema Run

Funke Akindele’s hit film Everybody Loves Jenifa is set to debut on Prime Video on August 29, 2025, following its highly successful theatrical run last year.

The comedy-drama, which resonated with audiences across Nigeria and abroad, earned ₦1.7 billion at the box office, cementing its place as one of Nollywood’s most profitable titles. Its upcoming release on Prime Video underscores the platform’s growing investment in Nigerian films and offers the project a global streaming audience.

The comedy-drama, co-directed by Akindele and Tunde Olaoye, marked the third installment in the popular Jenifa franchise.
