A proud disciple of Spanish giants FC Barcelona, he never misses a chance to remind rival fans (especially those from the red side of Manchester) of their place.
So when someone—even a close collaborator—dares to show up wearing a Manchester United jersey, it’s bound to ruffle feathers.
A viral clip from the listening party for his freshly released album, Industry Machine, shows Odumodu gearing up to introduce Reminisce, who features on track 12, Layi Wasabi, when he paused for a confession. “I’ve called this guy on the phone five times,” he said, “and every single time, he picked up wearing a Manchester United jersey.”
Of course, when Reminisce arrived, it was all love, and even more of it flowed when Layi Wasabi himself joined the stage.
But we can’t help but notice the message here: for Odumodu, it’s war against Manchester United fans, and there’s no room for divided loyalties.
