Nigeria’s producer-turned-artiste Young Jonn is set to release his sophomore album, Blue Disco, on November 21, 2025. The 21-track project marks the next phase of his musical evolution, following the success of his earlier work.
Blue Disco features collaborations with both national and international artists, including Rema, Wizkid, Asake, Olamide, Shenseea, Focalistic, and Franglish.
The album is expected to showcase Young Jonn’s versatility, blending Afrobeats, contemporary pop, and danceable grooves while highlighting his growth as a lead artiste.
Three tracks from the album have already dropped: “Full Control,” “Che Che” featuring Asake, and “Cash Flow” featuring Wizkid. “Cash Flow” marked a major milestone for Young Jonn, becoming his first international hit after debuting in the top ten of the US Billboard Afrobeats Chart. The official lead single paving the way for Friday’s release is the Rema-assisted “Lalala.”
Young Jonn’s debut album, Jiggy Forever, released in April 2024, enjoyed strong mainstream success and produced chart mainstays such as “Big Big Things,” “Sharpally,” and “Aquafina.” The Nollywood Reporter noted that the album “remains an important, yet imperfect milestone in his career.” Blue Disco might just be the multi-hyphenate’s artistic defining moment.
