Ayra Starr has won Best International Act at the 2026 MOBO Awards, marking her second consecutive win in the category.
The achievement makes her the first African artiste to secure back-to-back wins in the category and brings her total MOBO wins to three.
The ceremony, held on March 26 at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, celebrated Black music across genres including Afrobeats, R&B, hip-hop and grime.
Starr was the only Nigerian nominee in the Best International Act category, competing against artistes such as Cardi B, Tyla, Gunna, Kehlani and Vybz Kartel.
Wizkid also won Best African Music Act, beating nominees including Davido, Rema, Tiwa Savage, Adekunle Gold and Shallipopi.
British-Nigerian creator Niko Omilana won Best Media Personality, while producer P2J took home Best Producer.
Elsewhere, Olivia Dean won Best Female Act, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
Starr’s win continues her international run, following recent releases including “Where Do We Go” and “Aye Kan,” a collaboration with Angelique Kidjo.
