Africa Magic’s crime thriller Iboju is set to continue its debut season with episode 5, scheduled to air on April 18, 2026, at 19:00 WAT on Africa Magic Yoruba.
Directed by Gboyega Ashowo and produced by David Akande, the series has built its narrative around the disappearance of Dayo and the growing tension it creates within the community of Orisun.
In the latest update, Africa Magic teased a deeper phase of investigation, with the search for answers around Dayo’s disappearance becoming more intense, alongside rising pressure on Joe, whose desperation continues to shape key events in the story.
Set in the quiet but tightly connected community of Orisun, Iboju explores how silence, complicity, and fear shape everyday life when a crisis emerges. The series follows a community where everyone is familiar with one another, yet many choose to ignore uncomfortable truths until they can no longer be avoided.

The show’s central narrative examines survival, justice, and moral compromise, showing how ordinary people respond when confronted with pressure and suspicion.
The cast includes David Akande as Lolu, Boluwatife Akande as Dayo, and Luwamide Femi Isedowo as Joe, alongside Eniola Victoria, Adegboye Idris, Ayobamidele Akim, Omoloro Ogunfeyintimi, Uche Obi, and Damilola Ajayi.
Through its grounded storytelling, Iboju positions itself as a cultural crime drama that focuses less on spectacle and more on the psychological and social cost of injustice in small communities.
The series airs new episodes every Saturday and Sunday at 7 PM on Africa Magic Yoruba.
