Africa Magic, in partnership with MultiChoice, has officially opened the call for entries for the 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). Entries are now being accepted from Monday, December 23, 2024, until Friday, January 31, 2025.
The AMVCA is renowned for honoring outstanding talent and creativity within the African entertainment industry, providing a platform to celebrate the continent’s best filmmakers, producers, actors, and production professionals. The awards, which have gained significant recognition over the years, offer a chance for creatives to showcase their work to a global audience.
This year’s edition is focused on submissions from films, made-for-television movies, or television series that were publicly screened or broadcast from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. Creatives from across the continent, including filmmakers, production companies, and television producers, are invited to submit their work for consideration.
