Prime Video Releases Trailer for “Ride or Die”

The action-comedy series starring Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham is set to premiere on July 15.

Prime Video has released the official trailer and poster for Ride or Die, an upcoming action-comedy series led by Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham.

 

The series follows lifelong friends Debbie Claybourne and Judith Burton, played by Spencer and Waddingham, who believe they know everything about each other until one is revealed to be an international assassin.

 

A mission gone wrong forces Judith to confront a hidden past, pulling both women into a dangerous escape as they are pursued by assassins and law enforcement while embarking on a road trip.

 

Actress Octavia Spencer plays Debbie, the closest confidante of Judith, portrayed by Hannah Waddingham in <em>Ride or Die</em>. With their performances, the series promises to deliver an equal mix of emotion, humour, and stunning action.

The cast also includes Ed Skrein, Calam Lynch, Savannah Steyn, Jamie Parker, and Jacky Ido, with special appearances from Sylvia Hoeks and Bill Nighy.

 

Octavia Spencer is known for Ma (2019), while Hannah Waddingham appeared in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (2025).

Created by Tessa Coates and directed by Peyton Reed, the eight-episode series blends action and comedy as it explores shifting trust within long-term friendship.

 

Ride or Die is scheduled to premiere on July 15 on Prime Video.
