Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has filed a ₦2.55 billion lawsuit against fellow rapper Odumodublvck (Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu), alleging defamation, harassment, intimidation, and reputational damage.

According to a legal memorandum dated July 7, 2026, Blaqbonez’s legal representatives, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, allege that Odumodublvck engaged in a sustained campaign of defamatory statements and online conduct that damaged the rapper’s reputation, goodwill, and commercial interests.

The filing claims that Odumodublvck repeatedly published or amplified allegations describing Blaqbonez as a “sexual abuser” and “sexual abusing bastard,” assertions his legal team maintains are false, malicious, and defamatory.

“Our Client has suffered and continues to suffer significant loss and damage as a direct consequence of your unlawful conduct,” the memorandum states.

As part of the suit, Blaqbonez is asking the court to declare the publications defamatory and grant several reliefs, including a perpetual injunction restraining Odumodublvck from making or encouraging further defamatory statements, the removal of the alleged offending posts from his social media platforms, and a public retraction and apology to be pinned on his verified accounts for at least 30 consecutive days.

The rapper is also seeking ₦2 billion in general damages for alleged injury to his reputation and commercial standing, ₦500 million in aggravated damages over what the suit describes as repeated and malicious publications, and ₦50 million to cover the cost of the legal action.

The filing also references allegations of harassment, assault, battery, unlawful interference, and threats to Blaqbonez’s safety. Those claims form part of the suit and have not been tested or determined by the court.

Responding publicly, Odumodublvck rejected the allegations and reaffirmed his earlier claims against Blaqbonez.

“I STAND ON IT. THIS IS NOT DEFAMATION. YOU ARE A SEXUAL ABUSER. YOU DID IT,” the rapper wrote on X.

“JUST BECAUSE YOU GIVE A HUNDRED BLOGS TO POST YOUR 10TH PETITION TO ME, DOES NOT MEAN I WILL CHANGE MY STANCE. IF I WAS WRONG WHY HAVE YOUR 9 OTHER PETITIONS TO ME FAILED? YOU ARE GUILTY.”

The legal action marks a significant escalation in what has become one of Nigerian hip-hop’s most high-profile rivalries.

Once celebrated for their chemistry on collaborations such as Tesla Boy, Dollerz, and Technician, the relationship between the two rappers has steadily deteriorated over the past year, with repeated exchanges on social media giving way to diss records and increasingly personal accusations.

In September 2025, Odumodublvck intensified the feud with the release of 2:02 PM in London, a diss track whose “If you like gym!” line quickly became one of Nigerian rap’s most quoted phrases. Blaqbonez responded a month later with ACL, further cementing the rivalry as one of the country’s most talked-about rap feuds.

With the dispute now shifting from social media and music into the courtroom, the case marks a new chapter in the long-running feud. The allegations remain before the court, and no findings have been made on the claims by either party.
