Adekunle Gold is set to return to the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre, Lagos, on December 26, 2026, for another headline performance. The concert, themed “The Greatest Showman,” will see the singer perform live alongside the MUSON Orchestra and his live band, The 79th Element.

The announcement comes a year after the singer made history as the first artiste to sell out the iconic venue with his concert on December 26, 2025. Last year's performance saw Adekunle Gold fill the theatre's 3,560-capacity main hall, marking a significant milestone for live music in Nigeria. The concert featured a fusion of orchestral arrangements and Afrobeats, with guest appearances from Olamide, Adewale Ayuba and Yinka Ayefele.
Following the concert, the singer received commemorative plaques in recognition of the record-breaking achievement.
Since then, Adekunle Gold has continued to build on the musical direction introduced with his sixth studio album, Fuji, released on October 3, 2025. On May 8, 2026, he released Fuji Xtra, a five-track deluxe expansion of the album featuring collaborations with Olamide, Simi and TML Vibez.
His return to the venue this December comes exactly a year after the historic performance, placing him back on one of Lagos' major Detty December stages. With the MUSON Orchestra and The 79th Element accompanying him, this year's edition will once again bring together orchestral music and Afrobeats, building on the musical format that defined his previous concert.
