The film starring Nollywood icons Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), Nse Ikpe-Etim, Segun Arinze, and Mercy Aigbe, will premiere in cinemas nationwide on August 23, 2024.
“Force Empire” follows DCP Mfon, portrayed by Nse Ikpe-Etim, who is determined to unmask the perpetrator responsible for assaulting her protégé, ASP Halima, played by rising star Enwongoabasi Ibom. Mfon’s mission to expose the corrupt officers within the Nigerian Police Force, despite resistance from higher authorities, drives the narrative.
Richard Mofe Damijo delivers a powerful performance as IGP Ejiro, while Segun Arinze plays AIG Omotosho, a character with significant consequences.. The film also features Tony Umez, Kunle Coker, Sonny McDon, Aniebiet Francis, and Richard Johnson.
Produced by Ndy Akan under Viensa Productions, “Force Empire” continues Akan’s dedication to addressing critical social issues, particularly the sexual assault of women in the police force and workplaces.
“Force Empire is a film about justice,” Akan states. “It aims to highlight the commendable officers within the Nigeria Police Force while addressing the criminal actions of a few.”
Distributed by Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution, “Force Empire” will be available in major cinema chains and independent theaters across Nigeria starting August 23, 2024.
