Universal Pictures’ romantic-comedy, You, Me & Tuscany grossed ₦38.2 million in its first week at the Nigerian box office.
According to data from the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN), this figure includes a ₦24.1 million three-day weekend debut and a ₦14.1 weekend haul. This was enough to lodge in second place at the Nigerian box office, only behind The Return of Arinzo’s ₦72.7 million but above The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’s ₦24.6 million.
In its domestic US market, You, Me & Tuscany’s fortunes are worse off. The PG-13 film fell 51% from its debut for a $3.8 million second weekend gross, as reported by industry analyst Luiz Fernando. The film has grossed $14.4 million in the US, against an $18 million production budget.
