Apple Studios is going full throttle with the high-octane sports drama “F1,” slated for an international theatrical release on June 25, 2025.
Set against the fast-paced world of Formula One racing, the story follows a legendary driver whose career was cut short by a devastating accident in the 1990s. Now, in 2025, his former teammate and close friend persuades him to return to the track—not as a competitor, but as a coach to a gifted young rookie racing for the Apex Grand Prix team.
“F1” stars Academy Award winners Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem, alongside Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Kim Bodnia.
Directed by “Top Gun: Maverick”’s Joseph Kosinski, the film is produced by Pitt, Jerry Bruckheimer, seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and Chad Oman.
“F1” is one of the most anticipated films of 2025—and it’s easy to see why. With a $200 million production budget and cameo appearances by real Formula One drivers, the film promises high drama and high realism.
To build momentum ahead of its release, several singles from the official soundtrack, “F1: The Album”, have already dropped: “Lose My Mind” by Don Toliver and Doja Cat, “Messy” by Rosé, “Baja California” by Myke Towers, and “Just Keep Watching” by Tate McRae. The full soundtrack will be released on June 27, 2025—the same day the film hits theaters in North America.
“F1” is distributed by Warner Bros. and Apple Original Films. Following its theatrical run, the film will be available to stream on Apple TV+ at an undisclosed date.
