Biodun Stephen’s Sista is set to make its debut on Prime Video on June 23rd.

Written and directed by Stephen herself, the film examines the life of a single mother’s unwavering sacrifice to shield her children from the shadows of her past by exploring themes of love, betrayal, and selflessness.

Drawing inspiration from her own journey as a mother, Stephen said, “Sista was a project that was inspired by me being a mother. I also thought about my mother, who raised me singlehandedly… The film reminds us of the sacrifices our parents have made for us and that we should appreciate them.” With a heartfelt message at its core, Sista serves as a poignant reminder of the profound sacrifices made by parents.
