Blood Debt, an upcoming film written and directed by Chukwuka ‘Chukysmiles’ Ndife behind The Major (2023) in his feature debut, is scheduled to premiere nationwide in June.
Starring Jide Kene Achufusi, Segun Arinze and Norbert Young, Blood Debt follows a young man caught in a cycle of inherited violence and moral consequence as past actions return to demand repayment.
Produced under Akwavogue Films label, Blood Debt, according to the producers, is inspired by historical events as it chronicles Detective Okoro and Nwagu’s thrilling journey of uncovering corruption, vengeance and buried secrets.
Other cast featured in the upcoming project include Uzoamaka Power of Call of My Life, Ebele Okaro,
Tony Umez, Alexa Ebi, Chekwas Michael, Patience Ujah, Bernice Simon, Chinonso Ndife, John Okham, Austin Kanwei, Ejike Ibedilo, and Alaundra Dikese.
Blood Debt is distributed by FilmOne and will premiere in cinemas on June 19.
