Christopher Landon’s latest film, “Drop”, a psychological mystery thriller, is set for a theatrical release on April 11.
Starring Meghann Fahy and Brandon Sklenar, the film delves into a widow’s harrowing journey as she faces cryptic threats that turn her world upside down.
Written by Chris Roach and Jullian Jacobs, “Drop” follows Violet, a woman still mourning the loss of her husband when she starts receiving ominous messages on her phone. As the threats escalate, she is thrust into a perilous game that forces her to confront her deepest fears.
The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Violet Beane, Jacob Robinson, Reed Diamond, Ben Pelletier, Gabrielle Ryan, Jeffery Self, Ed Weeks, and Travis Nelson.
Before its theatrical debut, “Drop” premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival on March 9, 2025. Landon, known for horror films like “Happy Death Day” and “We Have a Ghost”, ventures into psychological suspense with this latest project.
