“My Old Ass” is set to premiere on Prime Video on Nov. 7, 2024, offering a fresh perspective on generational clashes.
Written and directed by Megan Park, the film follows Elliott, a free-spirited teenager who encounters her thirty-nine-year-old self during a camping trip. The older Elliott attempts to guide her younger self, hoping to prevent life-altering mistakes, but it remains uncertain if teenage Elliott will heed her own advice.
The cast includes Maisy Stella as the younger Elliott and Aubrey Plaza as the older Elliott, with supporting roles played by Percy Hynes White, Maddie Ziegler, Kerrice Brooks, Maria Dizzia, Alain Goulem, Seth Isaac Johnson, Carter Trozzolo, and Alexandria Rivera.
Produced by “Barbie” actress Margot Robbie, alongside Tom Ackerley, Steven Rales, and Josey McNamara, “My Old Ass” first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2024, receiving favorable reviews.
After a limited theatrical release in the U.S. and U.K. in September, its global debut on Prime Video is anticipated by a wider audience.
