Flowing from the success of “Trolls” (2016) and “Trolls World Tour” (2022), DreamWorks Animation will be releasing “Trolls Band Together” – the third (and hopefully not the last film) of the “Trolls” franchise. The animated fantasy film will make its way to theatres on Nov.17.

The last time we saw Poppy and Branch, voiced by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake respectively, they were saving the world from the evil schemes of Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom) who wanted the only music genre on the planet to be hard rock.

In the third film, however, they are on a different mission. Branch’s long-lost brother, Floyd has been kidnapped by pop star villains who plan to use his gifts for evil. Poppy and Branch must rescue him from a “fate even worse than pop-culture obscurity.”

Zoey Deschanel, Icona Pop, Anderson. Paak, Ron Funches, Kenan Thompson, Kunal Nayyar, Walt Dohrn, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse will be reprising their roles from the previous films alongside Kendrick and Timberlake.

Music stars such as Troye Sivan, Camila Cabello, and Kid Cudi will be joining the lineup. Rounding up the ensemble cast are Amy Schumer, Daveed Diggs, Eric Andre, RuPaul, Andrew Rannels, and Zosia Mamet.

To promote the film, an original song called Better Place was released on Sept.14. It was recorded by iconic boy band NSYNC, and it marked their first song in 22 years.

Dohrn puts on his directorial cap for the third time while Gina Shay serves as the film’s producer.
