Five Figurines, the latest film directed by Akay Mason, will open in Nigerian cinemas on November 13, 2026.
The film features an ensemble cast including Uche Montana, Mike Ezuruonye, Chimezie Imo, Ini Edo, Chuks Joseph, Odunlade Adekola, Clinton Joshua, Chinyere Wilfred, Bimbo Akintola, and Gbubemi Ejeye. It also marks Clinton Joshua’s cinema debut, following his appearances in YouTube productions.

Produced by Story 73 Nigeria Limited and Element24 Media, the psychological thriller centers on revenge, power, truth, and the consequences of betrayal. Written by Steven Okonkwo, the story examines how far people will go to protect their status, desires, and control.
The plot follows the mysterious death of Innocent, a young man whose grieving mother turns to traditional vengeance. As suspicion falls on a close-knit group of friends, their secrets and betrayals become entangled with five ancient-looking wooden carvings.
Mason, whose previous directorial credits include Elevator Baby, Red Circle, and Freedom Way, takes on production alongside directing through Element24 Media. Becca Ashang serves as co-producer.

Cinemax will distribute Five Figurines, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 13.
