BY Alo Folakemi

Movie: Hammer

Network: Cinematic Release.

Release Date: August 28

Director: Emem Isong Misodi

Judging by the trailer, this seems to be a satirical comedy about the problem millions of Nigerian youths face: unemployment.

There is a legion of graduates but no employment opportunities for many. Add in a crippling economy to the mix including ongoing insecurity concerns, and you have a clear picture of the trials the protagonist of the movie faces.

To survive, she must shatter her good girl image and make tough decisions that affect her and her family. She must Hammer (hustle), by any means necessary.
