Kalu Ikeagwu is set to lead Chuks ‘Big Tiger’ Obaze’s psychological thriller Invitation to Kill, which will debut in Nigerian and Ghanaian cinemas on September 11, 2026.
The film follows an agro-businessman whose carefully planned life begins to unravel as his marriage and business struggle. As the crises deepen, he is forced to consider starting over while confronting the emotional and financial consequences of his circumstances.
Ikeagwu anchors the story as the central character, with Greg Ojefua, Oma Iyasara, Tonia Chukwurah, Annabel Thaddaeus, and Efua Bona in supporting roles.

Invitation to Kill explores ambition, desperation, betrayal, pain, love, and trust as its protagonist navigates the breakdown of the life he has built.
The film is produced under Big Tiger Productions and directed by Obaze. It will be distributed across Nigerian and Ghanaian cinemas by Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution.
For Ikeagwu, the film marks a return to the big screen following appearances in Ms Kanyin and Aso Ebi Diaries.
