Kevin Hart Carries Big Boy Weights in “Lift”

Coming to Netflix on Jan. 12 is a new film, “Lift”. Directed by F Gary Gray, a group of smooth criminals are set to lift 500 million dollars worth of gold, but this is not like every other robbery. This one takes place 40,000 ft. up in the sky, on a plane. Whatever ups or downs this film will bring, we need not worry because we are in safe “harts”.

Kevin Hart takes on the lead role as Cyrus Whittaker, a thief who works with the government to get this gold. However, in this action-comedy film, Hart takes several steps out of his clown costume and puts on his big boy pants.

This role is a little different from what the actor usually plays. He leans toward a more serious side, and we can’t wait to see it!
