Kunle Remi and KieKie Ignite Romantic Sparks in ”Muri & Ko” Teaser

A new teaser for “Muri & Ko,” the upcoming drama film from director Biodun Stephen, offers a glimpse into a blossoming romance between Nollywood stars Kunle Remi and KieKie.

The sneak peek shows Remi’s character, Muri, serenading KieKie’s Ilori in an attempt to win her over, as she visibly swoons. While much of the plot remains under wraps, the teaser hints at a blend of drama and comedy.

“Stepping into Muri’s shoes was a wild ride! Buckle up for #Muri&KoMovie,” Stephen teased on Instagram, announcing the film’s Jun. 12 theatrical release.

In addition to Remi and KieKie, the ensemble cast includes Bisola Aiyeola, Bucci Franklin, Gloria Anozie-Young, Charles Okocha, and Femi Jacobs.

Stephen produces “Muri & Ko” in collaboration with Mo’ Fakorede, Inkblot Productions, and FilmOne Studios. It marks her second partnership with Inkblot following last year’s hit romantic drama “Big Love.”

That Prime Video success starred Bimbo Ademoye and Timini Egbuson as a couple whose blossoming relationship is threatened by fear and secrets.

With “Muri & Ko,” Stephen reteams with her “Big Love” producers to bring another heartfelt, crowd-pleasing story to the big screen on Jun. 12.
