Trino Motion Pictures, the powerhouse behind “The Weekend”, is set to release another cinematic gem, “Love Lockdown”, on February 7, 2025.
Known for producing award-winning films that resonate deeply with audiences, Trino promises yet another unforgettable experience with this new release.
“Love Lockdown” tells the story of a man torn between two loves: honoring his engagement or reigniting an old flame when the pandemic forces him and his ex into an unexpected lockdown together.
The film explores themes of love, heartbreak, and the tough choices that define relationships, promising an emotional journey for viewers.
This release follows the tremendous success of “The Weekend”, which earned 16 nominations at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), 6 nominations at the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, and made history as the first African film to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Building on that legacy, Trino Motion Pictures is set to deliver another masterpiece that captivates both critics and audiences alike.
Directed by Lindsey Efejoku and produced by Uche Okocha A.M.P., “Love Lockdown” features a talented cast, including Andrew Bunting, Detola Jones, Yewande Osamein, Doris Okorie, Obichi Marshall, Chidera Makatah, and Emmanuel Ogundu.
