“Shadow Force” Teases High Stakes Action

Lionsgate’s “Shadow Force” is gearing up for a theatrical release on May 9, 2025.
The film follows two former spies who fall in love and go rogue, disrupting their intelligence agency in the process. As they attempt to settle into a quiet suburban life, their peace is shattered by a looming threat—the very organization they once worked for. Forced out of hiding, the couple must confront their past and fight to protect the family they’ve built.
“Shadow Force” stars Kerry Washington, Omar Sy, Mark Strong, Da’Vine Joy Rudolph, and Method Man.
The film is directed by Joe Carnahan and produced by Washington, Sterling K. Brown, Pilar Savone, and Steven “Dr” Love.
Ahead of its debut, the action-thriller received a special screening at the 2025 Atlanta Film Festival on April 28, generating early buzz among critics and audiences alike.
