“3 Cold Dishes” Wins Big at Harlem International Film Festival
3 Cold Dishes has been crowned Best World Film at the Harlem International Film Festival 2025.
The film screened on September 19, 2025, in New York and was celebrated for its compelling storytelling and purpose-driven narrative.
Though the film is yet to premiere in cinemas nationwide, 3 Cold Dishes has already made an impressive international run. It earned two nominations—Best Actress for Osas Ighodaro and Best Screenplay—at the Septimius Awards, held its London premiere on October 3, 2025, and was introduced by executive producer Burna Boy to a packed stadium of fans during his sold-out concert in France.
The film also premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival under the SIRA African Hub program, an initiative dedicated to amplifying African storytelling.
Directed by Asurf Oluseyi and written by Tomi Adesina, the action-thriller follows three women seeking revenge on the criminal organization that trafficked them as children.
The film is executive produced by Osas Ighodaro, Burna Boy, and Bose Ogulu.
The star-studded cast includes Osas Ighodaro, Wale Ojo, Femi Jacobs, Gregory Ojefua, Brutus Richard, Tomiwa Kukoyi, Ruby Akuburze, Fat Toure, Maud Guerard, Amelie Mbaye, Mentor Ba, Ahoue Prescilla, and Sourou Gouvoeke.
