The Jury members include Biodun Stephen, Steve Gukas and Chris Odeh.
Nigerian filmmakers Steve Gukas (93 Days), Biodun Stephen (A Simple Lie) and Chris Odeh (Stitches) have been selected as jury members for the 2025 Africa Films For Impact Festival (AFFIF).
This year, they will collaborate to embody the festival’s theme “Be The Change,” bringing together creativity, advocacy, and excellence to highlight films that transform society.

Also, according to the festival’s official page, the recently unveiled filmmakers are described as “Africa’s most influential film voices.”
Gukas, who is a multi-award-winning filmmaker known for Kantagari Goes To Town, is armed with his years of experience to be named the Chairman of the jury.
Stephen, on the other hand, as an acclaimed director known for her emotionally resonating films is a jury member alongside Odeh, who completes the list as a Nollywood producer and talent coach.

AFFIF, aimed at amplifying the voices of Human Right and Social Justice films, has so far received over 13,000 film entries globally since its inception.
The 4th edition of the festival is set to hold October 29-31, 2025 in Abuja, Nigeria while official selections will be announced on September 15, 2025.
