Africa Magic is commemorating 10 years of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) with a new documentary titled “AMVCA 10” – a tribute to the prestigious ceremony’s role in elevating African storytelling.
Launched in 2013, the annual AMVCAs recognize outstanding talents and achievements across categories like acting, directing, writing and producing in films and TV shows from across the continent. The viewer-voted awards have grown into a globally renowned celebration of African entertainment.
As the AMVCA prepares for its milestone 10th edition on May 11 in Lagos, Nigeria, the “AMVCA 10” documentary will explore the rich history and impact of the esteemed awards over the past decade, according to a release from organizers.
