Asake’s sophomore album “Work of Art” continues to make waves on the charts, 28 months after its release.
As of October 2024, the 14-track album has become only the third to achieve 70 weeks in the Spotify Nigeria Top 10.
Since its debut on June 16, 2023, “Work of Art” has maintained a spot in the Top 10, reaching the top of the charts in 20 countries.
It now ranks behind Omah Lay’s “Boy Alone” and Asake’s debut album “Mr. Money With The Vibe” in all-time standings.

While “Work of Art” remains strong, Asake’s latest album, “Lungu Boy”, is extending its reign as the longest-charting No. 1 album on Spotify Nigeria in 2024, holding the top spot for a record 10 weeks. It surpassed Young John’s “Jiggy Forever” on September 27, 2024, after securing seven consecutive weeks at No. 1.
With Asake’s track record, it’s clear that “Lungu Boy” has the potential to replicate the success of “Work of Art” on the charts.
