“Bel-Air,” the gritty reimagining of the ’90s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” is gearing up for an action-packed third season, as revealed in a newly released trailer that promises fresh drama and new faces.

Set to return to Peacock on August 15, 2024, the upcoming season will shake things up with Will (Jabari Banks) and Carlton (Olly Sholotan) engaging in car races, Aunt Viv (Cassandra Freeman) uncovering a secret about Phil (Adrian Holmes), and a member of the group being hospitalized.

The second season concluded with Carlton coming clean about his drug addiction at the Founder’s Award, Will’s basketball dreams on hold, Jazz (Jordan L. Jones) and Hilary (Coco Jones) breaking up, and Uncle Phil grappling with personal issues, leaving the Banks family with more challenges to face in the new season.

While the core cast remains largely unchanged, the show will introduce new faces, including Vic Mensa as Quentin and Alycia Pascual-Peña as Amira.

As the city of Los Angeles hosts the family for the summer, Season 3 promises plenty of fun, mischief, and romance, with friendships tested, trust broken, and new identities discovered.

Fans can catch a glimpse of the Philly and Bel-Air action in the newly released trailer ahead of the premiere on Peacock on August 15, 2024.

The reboot, which debuted in 2022, has garnered critical acclaim for its fresh take on the iconic ’90s sitcom, exploring more mature themes and offering a grittier portrayal of the Banks family’s life in Bel-Air.
