Boluwatife Balogun, the 14-year-old son of Nigerian music superstar Wizkid, is preparing to make his debut in the music industry with a forthcoming rap single.
Having grown up around music, Boluwatife appears ready to carve his own path. The teenager recently shared snippets from a recording session on social media, offering fans a glimpse into his creative process. His mother, Shola Ogudu, reacted proudly to one of the clips, writing, “I’m so impressed. My impress is impressed! Jesus!”
While Boluwatife has not announced a release date, his posts suggest that his first track will carry a motivational theme. He has frequently used the word “champion” in his captions and hashtags, hinting that it may feature in his debut single’s title or concept.
The young artiste’s early interest in rap and production reflects his exposure to the entertainment world through his father, one of Africa’s most successful musicians. His debut will mark the beginning of a new generation in the Balogun family’s growing creative legacy.
