Burna Boy, Odumodublvck Receive Nominations for 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards

The annual event celebrates the biggest names in hip-hop as they compete for top honors.

BET has announced the nominees for the 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards, an annual ceremony that recognizes standout achievements in hip-hop music.

Among the nominees are Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy and rising star Odumodublvck, who have each earned nods in prestigious categories.

 

Burna Boy is nominated in the “”Best Live Performer”” category, where he will compete against heavyweights in the industry, including Drake, Nicki Minaj, Glorilla, Busta Rhymes, Travis Scott, and Cardi B.

 

Odumodublvck has secured a nomination in the “”Best International Flow”” category. He stands as the only Nigerian nominee in this field, competing alongside UK artists Stefflon Don, Bashy, and Ghetts, as well as French rappers Leys MC and SDM.

Leading the nominations this year is American rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who has garnered twelve nods. Kendrick Lamar follows closely with eleven nominations.

 

The 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards will be broadcast live from Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 15 via the BET Network.

 

Hip-hop legend Fat Joe is set to return as the host for the third consecutive year, with details on presenters and performers expected to be announced soon.

 

Voting for specific awards has now commenced on the BET website.
