Dave and Tems’ hit single “Raindance”, has entered the US Billboard Hot 100 charts, marking a major milestone for both artistes.

Released 13 weeks ago, the track debuted at No. 89 on the chart, becoming British rapper Dave’s first-ever Hot 100 entry and Tems’ sixth appearance. With this, Tems now ranks second among Nigerian artistes with the most Hot 100 entries, behind Burna Boy, who holds seven. Wizkid has five entries, while Rema, Lojay, CKay, Fireboy, and Davido have each appeared once.

Tems is not the only Nigerian artiste currently charting on the Hot 100. Burna Boy’s collaboration with Gunna, wgft, is positioned at No. 20.

“Raindance,” crossed  100 million streams on Spotify in early January 2026 and has since accumulated an additional 85 million streams, bringing its total to 185 million as of February 4.

The song is currently the most-streamed track from Dave’s fourth studio album, The Boy Who Played Harp, outperforming the project’s next highest-performing song, History, which features James Blake.
